Everyone is invited to attend the first Solemn Mass at the newly established Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish staffed by priests of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.  The parish was established by Bishop David A. Zubik, Bishop of Pittsburgh, on 1 July 2019, Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, with Canon William Avis as Pastor, and Canon John O'Connor as Parochial Vicar.  The weekly Traditional Latin Mass schedule is as follows:

Monday-Friday 12 noon

In addition Tuesdays & First Fridays 7:00 PM

Sundays 8:00 AM & 11:00 AM
Holy Days 7:00 PM (Consult bulletin to confirm all Mass times.)

Knights of Columbus Statement on Easter Bombings in Sri Lanka

St. Anthony's Shrine, Colombo, Sri Lanka, following bomb blast on Easter Sunday,
21 April 2019.

Following the Islamic terrorist attacks on Catholic churches and other sites in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council issued the following statement:

“The Knights of Columbus stands in solidarity with our Christian brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka during this time of trial. ... In addition to our prayers, the Knights of Columbus is sending $100,000 to Cardinal Ranjith in Colombo, Sri Lanka‌, for his use in the rebuilding and repair of his Christian community in the aftermath of this act of terrorism.”

“Globally, it is well documented that Christians are the most persecuted religious group today. ..."
