Saint Padre Pio Traditional Latin Mass Pilgrimage


Father Ladis J. Cizik will be leading a ‘St. Padre Pio Traditional Latin Mass Anniversary Pilgrimage’ to Italy from Sept. 24-30, 2018. The Traditional Latin Mass will be offered every day for the pilgrims. The year 2018, marks the 50th Anniversary of Padre Pio’s death and the 100th Anniversary of his visible Stigmata.

Rome will be visited, including St. Peter’s, St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, Holy Stairs, St. Paul Outside the Walls, tomb of the Great Blessed Pope Pius IX, Our Lady of Revelation at Tre Fontane, and the Catacombs of St. Calixtus.

Particular to St. Padre Pio, ‘the Patron Saint of the Traditional Latin Mass,’ the pilgrimage will pray at Pietrelcina, Piana Romano, Benevento, Morcone, and San Giovanni Rotondo. The pilgrimage will then head to St. Michael’s Cave, the Holy House of Loreto, the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, and Assisi.

On Saturday, 23 June 2018, everyone is welcome for a pilgrimage organized by the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest to the National Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians at the Basilica of Holy Hill in Hubertus, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee). Join clergy, friends, and faithful of the Institute apostolates in Milwaukee, Green Bay, Wausau, Rockford, Chicago, and beyond for this special Marian event.

Sample, Archbishop of Portland in Oregon, will be the celebrant of the pontifical Solemn Mass in the Traditional Roman Rite commemorating the 10th anniversary of the issue by Pope Benedict XVI of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum to be held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC, Saturday, 28 April 2018, 1:00 PM.

Report: Blessed Karl of Austria Mass, Luncheon & Conference 2018

On Good Shepherd Sunday, 15 April 2018, the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161 Traditional Latin Mass Guild hosted a Mass in honor of Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.




The Vidi Aquam, or solemn sprinkling of holy water before Mass during Paschal time.



Fr. Ladis J. Cizik offered the Mass for the Second Sunday after Easter, Good Shepherd Sunday, and preached on Blessed Karl as an example of the Good Shepherd who is ready to lay down his life for his flock.




After Mass and veneration of a first class relic of Blessed Karl, a luncheon and conference were held in the church hall.


Katherine E. Novak, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the William Penn Association, the largest Hungarian-American fraternal organization in the United States, presented a check to support the honoring of Blessed Karl.  Sam Belli, Grand Knight of Woodlawn Council 2161, accepted the donation on behalf of St. Titus Parish.


Suzanne Pearson, Delegate to the Emperor Karl League of Prayer, spoke about the League's activites and upcoming events in Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO, and Washington, DC.


The featured speaker was Raymond de Souza, Delegate for International Missions for Human Life International and President of the Sacred Heart Institute. He spoke on the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Blessed Karl's historical mission to restore Christendom.



Woodlawn Council 2161 wishes to thank Katherine E. Novak and the William Penn Association for their continued support of and participation in the honoring of Blessed Karl.
