Cardinal Burke to Ordain Priests in the Traditional Roman Rite in St. Louis, 5 August 2014

The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest announced that several of its American seminarians will be ordained in St. Louis this summer.  The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be conferred by His Eminence, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, during a solemn Pontifical Mass at St. Francis de Sales Oratory on Tuesday, 5 August 2014 (Feast of Our Lady of the Snows).

Report: 2014 Blue Mass


On the Sunday after Ascension, 1 June 2014, the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161 Traditional Latin Mass Guild hosted a Blue Mass at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, to honor members of the Aliquippa Police and Fire Departments, and the Beaver County Sheriff's Office, and to invoke God's blessing and protection upon them.


The Mass was offered by Fr. Ladis J. Cizik.

After Mass, there was a luncheon in the church hall.  Master of Ceremonies was Magisterial District Judge James F. DiBenedetto.  Featured speaker was the Honorable James J. Ross, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County.
