All Masses Canceled by Order of the Bishop

15 March 2020 - Bishop David Zubik has made the decision to cancel all weekday and Sunday Masses in the Diocese of Pittsburgh effective Monday, 16 March 2020, until further notice.

In accordance with Bishop Zubik's order, all Traditional Latin Masses at St. Titus Church are canceled until further notice.

Effective 17 March 2020, the Byzantine Catholic Archdiocese of Pittsburgh (website) has suspended indefinitely all public liturgical services.

The Roman Catholic bishops of Ohio have suspended all publicly offered Masses through Easter.  See official statement here.

The Ukrainian Catholic bishops have suspended all public services.  See official statement here.

As of 20 March 2020, the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson, Ohio, has suspended all public services by order of their Maronite Catholic bishop.

Finally, the Society of Saint Pius X has a chapel in Pittsburgh.  They have increased the number of Sunday Masses at St. James Church in Pittsburgh in order to continue to make public Masses available to the faithful.  Consult the website below for the latest information regarding times, limitations, restrictions, and conditions.
