On Wednesday, 7 October 2020, the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161 Traditional Latin Mass Guild hosted a Solemn Mass at St. Titus Church, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and to commemorate the great Catholic victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. Leading the procession before Mass was a reproduction of the Holy League flag that flew on the Catholic flagship at the Battle of Lepanto.
The celebrant was Canon John O'Connor of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, Parochial Vicar of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, assisted by Fr. Jean-Luc Zadroga, OSB, Administrator Pro Tem of St. Titus Parish, as deacon, and Canon William Avis, Pastor of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish, as subdeacon.
During the sermon, Canon O'Connor conveyed to the Knights of Woodlawn Council and the assembled faithful the greetings, prayers, and best wishes for a blessed feast day of Canon Matthew Talarico, Provincial Superior of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.
